What mic will you use?

All headsets are single-ear by default. For dual-ear coverage (both ears, waterproof, no slipping during dance), add the MicKit Premium Element upgrade below. Already own a mic you love? Pick Bring my own and we'll ship the receiver and bodypack only — plug any TA4F or 3.5mm locking element into the pack.

Brand

Both Shure and Sennheiser are pro-grade 24-bit digital wireless — you can't go wrong with either. Pick whichever matches gear you already own, or whichever your sound tech prefers. If you don't have a preference, Shure is the default. Sennheiser on this kit adds +$200/wk — the Sennheiser build uses more receivers and adds an ASA 214 antenna combiner to hit 4 coordinated channels, and the surcharge covers the real dealer-cost delta.

The four-channel workhorse

MicKit Pro 4 is the rental you want when opening night is non-negotiable and four actors need to land every line. It’s the first kit in the lineup that ships in a shock-mounted road rack instead of a molded case — a real 3U rack: 1U for the four-channel SLXD4Q+ (or Sennheiser quad) receiver, and 2U of slide-out accessory drawer below that holds all four bodypacks, all four elements, spare windscreens, and the accessory bag. The four receivers are pre-wired to a single cascaded antenna feed so you don’t have to mount paddles; the power distribution is a single IEC cable in the back. Operators tell us it takes longer to unlock the road case latches than it does to turn the kit on. This is the kit that replaces the spreadsheet and the 48-hour turnaround from a rental house with “pick a date, pay, show up.”

Built for

  • High school and middle school musicals casting four leads
  • Worship teams with two vocalists, a pastor, and a keys player
  • Corporate panels with a moderator and three panelists
  • Small regional theatre productions
  • Weddings with processional vocalist + officiant + bride + groom
  • Live podcast recordings with a four-person roundtable

Brand selector

Shure SLX-D+ or Sennheiser EW-DX at checkout. Shure is the default. Sennheiser adds $200/wk on Pro 4 and larger kits because the Sennheiser build uses two EW-DX EM2 dual receivers plus an ASA 214 antenna combiner to hit four coordinated channels — more gear than the single Shure quad rack, and we pass through the dealer-cost delta honestly. If you or your sound tech already own Sennheiser gear and want it to match, the surcharge is worth it. Otherwise, Shure is the default.
